Welcome to Centro Escolar Solalto, where this year we have 35 new families. We thank you for trusting us with the education of your children. We are a school with an interesting and challenging curriculum that aims for academic excellence, especially in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Spanish and English Language, Art and Music, making learning an interesting experience. All our activities are supported by APDE, an association with 40 years of successful educational career and experience.

During this year, the school will be a second home for your children, and we hope you also feel at home.

The communication between home and school is a very important factor that contributes to our students’ success. We will keep you informed about the activities that are part of our educational project and about how your children make the most of it each day. Through a coordinated effort between home and school, we will increase the students’ opportunities for success in the following school year.

With your help we will do everything to allow your child to feel safe, successful, confident, and that he is surrounded by people who care for him.

Also, it is a pleasure to inform you about the advances we have made in the technological area of our school. Among them is the new technology curriculum which has been organized in 4 areas: 1) Office automation and Multimedia, 2) Digital Citizenship, 3) Programming, 4) Innovation and creativity. As for equipment, our students will have fixed and mobile computer labs, a computer in each classroom, Internet access in all classrooms, traditional projectors and smart boards, MimioPads and clickers. 

Regarding the last news about the infrastructure of our school, we are at the initial construction stage of the Solalto Gymnasium, which was possible through the support received from parents, who are represented by our CPA (Committee of Parents and Friends). We believe this will help us obtain more national and international sports victories. To improve our students’ comfort, we will also extend our cafeteria area.
